Afternoon Session: Processed Based Art with Laura Lockie This session explores the value of process-based art as a foundation for creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression in early childhood education. Participants will examine the differences between product-focused and process-focused approaches, discovering how open-ended materials and experiences foster critical thinking, resilience, and intrinsic motivation. Practical strategies, real-life examples, and hands-on activities will demonstrate how educators can create environments that encourage exploration and creativity while supporting early literacy and developmental goals.
