Morning Session: Centre Culture Check-In: Strengthening Belonging Professional Identity with Marcia Nicole
Culture is shaped by how we show up for each other every day. This session invites educators and leaders to explore the emotional and relational landscape of their Centre, and to examine how intentional practices can strengthen belonging, respect, and professional pride. Together, we will consider how to co-create environments where everyone feels welcome, engaged, and part of something meaningful.
Afternoon Session: Culturally Relevant Pedagogical Practices in ECE: Supporting Newcomer Families and Children to Foster Belonging and Wellbeing in Early Learning and Childcare with Nidhi Menon
This interactive session invites Early Childhood Educators to engage in critical reflection and dialogue about supporting newcomer families and children in early learning environments. Grounded in love, commitment, emotional professionalism, and culturally relevant pedagogy, this session will create space to share practices, generate ideas, and build strategies that nurture belonging and wellbeing. Together, we will consider how diverse perspectives can enrich our work and open new possibilities for building strong, inclusive relationships within communities.
