Payment Policy

To ensure your spot is secured, all Professional Development fees must be paid in full prior to the event. If you are paying individually you are required to pay at the time of registration.

Exceptions: We allow flexibility for council or board-run centers requiring additional time for check approvals/signatures. Please contact us in advance if this applies to you. Payment is due one week before the event start date.

*If you are mailing a cheque, please allow a few days ahead of the deadline for it to be received by the ECDA office. Our mailing address is: PO Box 2002, RPO Sherwood, PE C1A 9E3

Refund Policy

All purchases and sales are final and non-refundable.

Exceptions may be made solely at the discretion of management in the event of documented extenuating circumstances received in advance of the event.

Please note that any approved refunds may be subject to a holdback fee of up to 20% to cover non-reimbursable administrative and processing costs. This holdback fee also applies to all duplicate payment refunds.

ECDA's 2026 AGM

The Board of Directors of the Early Childhood Development Association of PEI would like to invite members to attend our Annual General Meeting on Thursday September 24th at 6:30PM via Zoom, for the following purposes:

To consider and approve the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting of the Members held on September 25th, 2025.
To receive the financial statements and Annual Report of the Association for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026.
To conduct any other such business as may properly be brought before the meeting.

Voting is open to those who have a current Professional or Lifetime membership with the ECDA. Members must be in attendance to vote as there is no voting by proxy.

The AGM is FREE to attend, however we ask that you register so we can ensure we are able to meet quorum! This meeting is open for everyone to attend!

The AGM allows our members a means to make changes to the way the ECDA does business. It is the opportunity to table a recommendation from the floor or to draw attention to an issue you wish to bring to the Board of Directors to consider. By having your voice heard, it is your time to really be involved in the operations and direction of your association.

The AGM is your opportunity to stay in touch with our activities as an association and the input we receive results in our future work for the sector.
