Payment Policy

To ensure your spot is secured, all Professional Development fees must be paid in full prior to the event. If you are paying individually you are required to pay at the time of registration.

Exceptions: We allow flexibility for council or board-run centers requiring additional time for check approvals/signatures. Please contact us in advance if this applies to you. Payment is due one week before the event start date.

*If you are mailing a cheque, please allow a few days ahead of the deadline for it to be received by the ECDA office. Our mailing address is: PO Box 2002, RPO Sherwood, PE C1A 9E3

Refund Policy

All purchases and sales are final and non-refundable.

Exceptions may be made solely at the discretion of management in the event of documented extenuating circumstances received in advance of the event.

Please note that any approved refunds may be subject to a holdback fee of up to 20% to cover non-reimbursable administrative and processing costs. This holdback fee also applies to all duplicate payment refunds.

Holland College Information Session for Directors: Certification Upgrade Pathways

Many early childhood professionals have been waiting for the next round of opportunities to upgrade their certification. Join us for a virtual information session with Liam Corcoran, Academic & Applied Research Executive Director at Holland College, to learn about the Early Childhood programs being offered during the 2026-27 academic year!

During this session, you'll receive an overview of the available educational pathways, learn about the details of the accelerated programs, and have an opportunity to ask questions.

Programs Being Offered - Liam Corcoran has provided a list of programs Holland College will be offering during the 2026-2027 academic year:

Early Childhood Care and Education Diploma Program
Introductory Evening Courses (Online)
Early Childhood Assistant ACCELERATED Program
Early Childhood Care and Education ACCELERATED Program
Early Childhood Assistant PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition)

Please Note: The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) PLAR + Online Program will not be offered during the 2026-27 academic year.

Who Should Register?

This information session is for Directors of Early Childhood Interns and Early Childhood Assistants who have shown interest in taking the next step in their career by upgrading their certification.

This session will help you better understand the pathways available through Holland College to support your employees on their education journeys.

Registration is free but required.

If you are unable to attend, the ECDA of PEI will share a summary of the key information with members following the session.
