  • Payment Policy

    To ensure your spot is secured, all Professional Development fees must be paid in full prior to the event. If you are paying individually you are required to pay at the time of registration.

    Exceptions: We allow flexibility for council or board-run centers requiring additional time for check approvals/signatures. Please contact us in advance if this applies to you. Payment is due one week before the event start date.

    All purchases and sales are final and non-refundable. 
     
    Exceptions may be made solely at the discretion of management in the event of documented extenuating circumstances received in advance of the event.
     
    Please note that any approved refunds may be subject to a holdback fee of up to 20% to cover non-reimbursable administrative and processing costs. This holdback fee also applies to all duplicate payment refunds.
Event Details

Screen use for Pre-school Aged Children - New Date -

The session will review the relationship between screen time and health during the early years.  It will also review current recommendations for screen use in this age group, and ways to limit screen use in the classroom and at home.

 

Facilitator Bio:

Travis Saunders is a Professor in the Department of Applied Human Sciences at UPEI.  His work examines the relationship between physical activity and health across the lifespan.
