Payment Policy

To ensure your spot is secured, all Professional Development fees must be paid in full prior to the event. If you are paying individually you are required to pay at the time of registration.

Exceptions: We allow flexibility for council or board-run centers requiring additional time for check approvals/signatures. Please contact us in advance if this applies to you. Payment is due one week before the event start date.

*If you are mailing a cheque, please allow a few days ahead of the deadline for it to be received by the ECDA office. Our mailing address is: PO Box 2002, RPO Sherwood, PE C1A 9E3

The Early Childhood Development Association (ECDA) reserves the right to use photographs and video recordings taken at ECDA-sponsored events for promotional and educational purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image in ECDA publications and digital media.

Refund Policy

All purchases and sales are final and non-refundable.

Exceptions may be made solely at the discretion of management in the event of documented extenuating circumstances received in advance of the event.

Please note that any approved refunds may be subject to a holdback fee of up to 20% to cover non-reimbursable administrative and processing costs. This holdback fee also applies to all duplicate payment refunds.

ECDA Beach Party at Cavendish Beach

ECDA Members, we’re excited to invite you and your families to our 2025 ECDA Summer Beach Party, a fun, casual get-together just for members! Come enjoy the sun, the sand, and great company at one of PEI’s most beautiful National Parks. Event Details: Location: Cavendish Beach: 590 Graham's Ln, Cavendish, PE C0A 1M0 Date: Sunday, July 20th Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Cost: National Parks and Beaches are free to access this year, so there’s no entry cost!

What to Expect:
- Snacks and Drinks: We'll have chips and drinks available to keep everyone refreshed (limited quantities).
- Activities: Bring your competitive spirit and Imagination! We'll have Frisbees and Spike Ball, as well as shovels and pails to dig and build!
- A chance to connect with other members and relax outdoors

What to Bring:
- Beach gear, towels, games, and whatever helps you enjoy the day
- Your own lunch
This is a relaxed, family-friendly event, whether you’re building sandcastles, playing a game, or soaking up the summer air, we’d love to see you there.
