To ensure your spot is secured, all Professional Development fees must be paid in full prior to the event. If you are paying individually you are required to pay at the time of registration.
Exceptions: We allow flexibility for council or board-run centers requiring additional time for check approvals/signatures. Please contact us in advance if this applies to you. Payment is due one week before the event start date.

The Early Childhood Development Association (ECDA) reserves the right to use photographs and video recordings taken at ECDA-sponsored events for promotional and educational purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image in ECDA publications and digital media.

This interactive workshop equips educators with practical strategies to address behaviors in before and after-school programs through connection, social-emotional learning, and guidance techniques. Participants will explore the root causes of behaviors, learn how to foster trust and emotional regulation, and gain effective tools to guide children in positive ways. Through hands-on activities and real-world scenarios, educators will leave with actionable insights to create a more supportive and engaging environment.

Participants will be given the link to the video and are required to participate in one of two ways-- with a microphone/built in speaker or through the chat. In addition there will be a log tracking which members contribute and which do not, and those that do not contribute will not receive PD hours. We ask that you leave your camera on for the session.
