This position will assist the Ferry Road Director manage daily operations, maintain regulatory compliance, supervise staff and maximize usage of the facilities. The successful candidate will report to and work with the Director and have overall authority for the centre if the Director is off-site. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your management experience within a great team! Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Administration • Assume full responsibility for the Ferry Road operations when the Director is unavailable • Provide support to the Director with the management of both Ferry Road locations • Manage daily scheduling, timesheets, and staff-to-child ratios. • Maintain accurate records for HR, licensing, and attendance. • Handle inquiries, lead center tours for prospective parents, and assist with family admissions. • Any other duties as required including occasional in ratio work as needed. Program Quality & Compliance • Assist in the implementation of the early learning curriculum • Conduct classroom walk-throughs and provide coaching or feedback to educators. • Ensure all center practices and staff comply with provincial childcare licensing regulations and child protection standards. Health & Safety • Monitor indoor and outdoor spaces daily to address maintenance or safety hazards immediately including execution of monthly emergency preparedness drills (e.g., fire, severe weather). • Ensure all staff hold valid First Aid/CPR certifications and required background checks.

Required Experience
Ideally 2+ years of professional experience in a licensed child care or preschool setting, including supervisory experience.
