CHANCES is seeking a permanent full-time certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to support the delivery of high-quality early learning and childcare programs for children ages 0–11 years. As a non-profit, community-based charitable organization, CHANCES is dedicated to actively contributing to the well-being of children and supporting families through inclusive, responsive, and nurturing programs. The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for creating and maintaining safe, engaging, and child-centered learning environments that support children\\'s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Guided by the PEI Early Learning Framework, the successful candidate will plan and implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage learning through play, foster positive relationships, and support the unique needs of each child. Building strong partnerships with families is central to this role. The Early Childhood Educator will communicate openly with parents and caregivers, support family engagement, and contribute to a welcoming environment where children and families feel valued and connected. This position also contributes to a collaborative team environment by working closely with colleagues, participating in ongoing professional learning, and supporting the delivery of high-quality programs that promote the well-being and development of children.

ECI/ECA/ECE Certification Standard First Aid Food Safety Valid criminal record and vulnerable sector check Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Required Experience
Previous experience in an early learning or child care setting is considered an asset, but not required. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow in this role
