Kidz Corner Early Learning Academy

The Early Childhood Educator (ECE) is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that supports the growth and development of children. The ECE plans and implements developmentally appropriate learning experiences, supervises children, maintains health and safety standards, and builds positive relationships with families and colleagues. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children. Plan and implement engaging learning experiences based on children\'s interests and developmental needs. Observe, document, and support children\'s learning and development. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate professionally with families and team members. Follow all licensing regulations, centre policies, and health and safety procedures. Participate in ongoing professional development and team collaboration. Implement Early Learning Framework and follow AQI requirements.

Required Skills
Early Childhood Education certification or diploma (ECA or ECE preferred) Current First Aid/CPR certification. Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check. WHIMS

Required Experience
Previous experience working with children in a licensed early learning or childcare setting is considered an asset. Knowledge of child development, play-based learning, and positive behaviour guidance. Experience working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and community professionals is preferred. Familiarity with the PEI Early Learning Framework and inclusion practices is an asset.
