Special Needs Assistant/Room Support

We are looking for a special needs assistant to join our team who works collaboratively with educators to support the inclusion, development, and well-being of children with additional needs. An SNA provides individualized support while promoting independence, participation, and positive social interactions within a play-based early learning environment. Key Responsibilities of this role are: Provide one-on-one and small-group support to children Assist children in participating fully in daily routines, activities and transitions Implement individualized goals and support strategies developed by families and professionals Assist with personal care routines, including toileting, feeding etc. Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children. Working closely with families and educators to provide children with the best possible care and communication.

Required Skills
Experience working with children with diverse abilities or additional support needs. Current First Aid and CPR certificate Clean and up to date criminal record check Early Childhood Education Diploma or certificate is considered an asset.
