Submission #2464

One day a new adult joined the classroom, Pedagogical support worker. She didn’t stand at the front like an educator. Instead, she moved gently through the room, noticing the little things others might miss.
on her first morning, she saw a child struggling to join a group activities. The children build a tower with blocks, but the child hovered nearby ,unsure the pedagogical support knelt beside him, bringing herself down to his level. “Would like to help me build something?” The child hesitated ,then nodded. The pedagogical support worker introduced simple games then encourage turn-taking. She paired the child with kind classmates.
Pedagogical support didn’t change the child/children overnight. It worked quietly, patiently, in small moments, a gentle questions ,a share activity, a steady presence. Like sunlight through a widow, it helped children grow-at his pace, in their own way.
