Before getting our diagnosis for our son, he was closely followed by the staff at our daycare and no words could ever explain how grateful I am with the support he received. Some drop offs and pick ups were hard and countless times a support employee would help him regulate and change his mind to make it easier for all of us to transition to whatever task we were trying to accomplish. My experience would have been completely different without the extra support and me and my son would have been miserable, stressed and just overall exhausted. My mental health was improved knowing he was well supported and that the staff was not overlooking him because of stretched out ressources.
