Submission #2504
By Megan McPhee
I have been working as an educator for more than two years, and I am happy and fulfilled serving children by teaching, caring for, and providing them with love, support, and education. Our children are our future, and they should always be prioritized, especially when it comes to their education and care.
Now, I am deeply worried about the news regarding the possible cuts to the pedagogical support positions. How can educators continue to be efficient and effective if they are exhausted from their work and are not properly supported?
I am writing this letter to share my concerns for all of us — educators, parents, and especially the children. Cutting pedagogical support positions may lead to unhealthy and stressed educators, and it could become the reason many of us give up and look for other jobs.
I sincerely hope and pray that this will not happen.
Sincerely,
Francisc Jane
