So many others have written such wonderful words so I’ll not say much , but I do want to say how important all those feelings shared in the impact statements really are. As an Early Childhood Educator, I’ve learned that we’re strong when it comes to perseverance and speaking up. I also used to work as a pedagogical support, and that role really helped me grow—it deepened my understanding of best practices and allowed me to better support both educators and children. I truly believe knowledge is power, and now that our sector’s voices are being heard, the right decision will come. This role is sooo important we need to fight to keep it !—it helps supports better quality care for the children of PEI.
