Preparing nutritious foods is an essential part of caring for young children and supports their growth and development. Having someone reliable and confident in this role is essential for our centre to run efficiently. You will be producing two snacks, and a lunch each day while keeping the kitchen organized, managing your time, balancing tasks, modeling a positive mindset, and enjoying some of those moments unique to a childcare environment. A love for food and the ability to plan and adapt menu options in line with Canada’s Food Guide and current Child Care regulations would be an asset as we are always working to best serve the children in our care. The rate of pay for this position is $17.93 an hour and your work hours will be 8:30-4:30.
