Happy Day is looking for a caring and organized Cook to prepare healthy, home-style meals and snacks for the children each day. The Cook plays an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly, ensuring that meals are nutritious, safe, and ready on time for each classroom. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve daily snacks and lunches following our set menu and portion guidelines. Plan grocery lists and place weekly food orders while managing kitchen inventory. Ensure meals are served to classrooms on schedule and at proper temperatures. Work with educators each morning to confirm meal counts and dietary needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times. Follow all food safety and health regulations. Assist staff with short breaks or transitions when needed.

Required Skills
Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening Valid First Aid and CPR Certification Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain) Excellent organization and time management skills Reliable and able to work independently

Required Experience
Experience preparing meals for groups; childcare or school setting experience is an asset.
