Happy Day is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young children and is committed to creating a positive, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. At Happy Day, we value educators who are patient, creative, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development through play-based learning and meaningful interactions. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: • Support the daily care and supervision of children • Plan and participate in age-appropriate learning experiences and activities • Foster a warm, inclusive, and respectful environment for all children and families • Maintain clear and positive communication with families and team members • Follow all provincial childcare regulations and centre policies • Work cooperatively with colleagues to support a strong team environment

Required Skills
Early Childhood Education Certification (ECA or higher) recognized in Prince Edward Island. Current First Aid and CPR certification Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search Membership with the ECDA (or willingness to obtain)

Required Experience
Previous experience working in an early learning or childcare setting is considered an asset.
