CHANCES is seeking a Part-Time Smart Play Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality, child-centred programming for children and their parents/caregivers. What You’ll Do Lead Child-Centred Programming Create a nurturing, play-based learning environment Plan and implement engaging daily activities Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Use positive guidance strategies to support children’s growth Observe and adapt programming to meet diverse developmental needs Support and Engage Families Build strong, respectful relationships with parents/caregivers Encourage active family participation in programming Provide support and share information in the best interest of the child Welcome and orient new families to Smart Play Oversee Program Operations Ensure high-quality program implementation Maintain a safe, inclusive, and organized environment Support administrative duties including registration, communication, and documentation Use participant feedback to strengthen programming Supervise and Support Staff Provide leadership and direct supervision to Smart Play staff Conduct regular check-ins and annual performance reviews Identify and support professional development opportunities Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture

Required Skills
Must have or be willing to obtain a School Age Certificate First Aid Certification Food Safety Certification Reliable transportation

Required Experience
Previous supervisory experience in a school age child care setting is considered an asset, but not required. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow in this role.
