As part of the early years team, the Support Staff (Special Needs Assistant) plays a key role in fostering an inclusive, safe, and nurturing environment for young children with additional needs. Working closely with educators, families, and specialists, the Support Staff provides tailored assistance to ensure each child can participate fully in daily activities, develop essential skills, and thrive socially and emotionally. This role involves implementing individual support plans, promoting independence, and supporting communication and behavior strategies, all while maintaining a warm, respectful, and child-centered approach.
