We are seeking a friendly, flexible, and dedicated Nutrition Support to join our team at Smart Start Mason Road. In this role, you will provide nutritious snacks and lunches for children attending our programs while supporting the Early Childhood and Early Learning Teams in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the daily functioning of Smart Start Mason Road program, ensuring children receive high-quality nutrition and support for their overall development. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and is committed to creating a positive early learning experience. What You’ll Do Kitchen Duties Plan and prepare snacks and lunches following Canada’s Food Guide and the P.E.I. Department of Health and Social Services Menu Planner for Daycare Facilities Prepare grocery lists and order supplies for Smart Start Mason Road programs Carry out kitchen cleaning and maintenance, including washing dishes, floors, counters, tables, ovens, and fridges, and taking out garbage, compost, and recycling Set up tables and clean up after snacks and meals Staff Support Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively to solve issues and challenges Offer schedule flexibility to ensure programs run smoothly and meet participant needs

Standard First Aid Food Safety

Required Experience
Previous experience in an early learning or child care setting is considered an asset, but not required. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow in this role.
