Key Responsibilities (Director Role) Promote an educational environment that supports children’s physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development. Develop, implement, and communicate a philosophy of high?quality early childhood education and care. Create and apply developmentally appropriate curriculum. Maintain respectful and collaborative relationships with families, staff, and community partners. Monitor and evaluate programs and daily activities. Manage enrolment and oversee ordering of materials, supplies, and equipment. Assess risks and respond to emergencies. Oversee facility repairs, safety, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Lead human resources functions, including staff qualifications, ratios, and performance standards. Manage budgets, revenue, and expenditures. Develop strategic, business, and annual operational plans.

Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE required). Certified Early Childhood Educator. Valid First Aid and CPR certification. Food Safety certification is an asset. Minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood education. Experience with increasing responsibility is preferred.
