Early Childhood Educator

Little Explorers is looking to hire an Early Childhood Educator (ECI, ECA, ECE). As an Early Childhood Educator, you’ll play an essential role in shaping young children’s early experiences. You’ll plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based programs that align with the curriculum outlined in the Early Learning Framework. In this role, you’ll: Create daily experiences that support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Observe and document children’s interests and development to inform your programming Encourage problem-solving, independence, and cooperation through hands-on learning Foster strong, positive relationships with families by communicating openly and supporting their child’s journey Collaborate with fellow educators to plan, reflect, and continuously improve our learning environments Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom that reflects the wonder of early learning Pay & Benefits Pay based on PEI’s ECE Grid (level & certification years) 40 hrs/week (8-hour shifts) Competitive employee benefits package This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood education, values collaboration, and wants to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and their families. Required Skills
Early Childhood Education Level l, ll or lll. Must be able to obtain a vulnerable criminal record check, first aid/CPR, WHMIS and Food Safety Certificates.
