ECE Educator

The position is Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.  Pay is based on the PEI ECE wage grid. 

We are looking for someone who is passionate and dedicated to the field of ECE. An individual who is a team player and has good communication skills in order to communicate with families and co-workers. An individual who has the ability to be flexible with their schedule and daily routines. 

Some duties include:

- Plan, prepare, and implement age-appropriate activities that follow the Early Learning Framework.

- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development.

- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and bathroom habits.

- Guide and assist children with problem-solving and conflict resolution.

- Guide and assist children with self-regulation strategies.

- Help maintain a clean and tidy learning environment. 

 

 

 

Required Skills

Post Secondary Certificate in ECE

Must be willing to obtain: 

First Aid/CPR Certificate

Food Safety Certificate

WHMIS

Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check.

Required Experience

Experience is an asset.
