If you are a parent in Prince Edward Island, you know how important the early years are to your child's development. Parents know that our children will learn essential life skills like emotion control, ways of responding, conceptualization and peer social skills first at home and then with others in an early childhood education environment. Selecting the place where your child can learn the most is an important and very unique experience for each family.

The Early Childhood Development Association exists to help PEI families make the early years count. Not only does the ECDA partner with early learning and child care centres to help them access the resources they need to provide high quality care and education to your family, the ECDA works directly with parents to make sure they have the tools and information they need to make the best early learning and child care choices to meet their child care needs.
