The Early Childhood Development Association believes in partnering with educators, families, community, business, policy makers and government to ensure positive outcomes and healthy child development for PEI's youngest children. In recognizing the value of community partnerships and unity, the ECDA is pleased to provide a variety of membership options for your participation. Membership with the Early Childhood Development Association is open to any person involved or interested in early childhood development and helping Prince Edward Island families.
The decisions and direction of the ECDA are guided by the membership and research-based evidence of best practice and trends in early childhood. The ECDA currently has more than 800 members, comprised of early childhood educators, post secondary educators, community partners and key stakeholders.

Any person certified as an early childhood educator under the provincial earlychildhood development certification program and is, at the time of application, practicing within the province of Prince Edward Island.
Any person, or member of a community agency supportive of the ECDA's mission and goals and not eligible for membership under any other membership categories (this may include parents, retirees, and ece's during times of unemployment).
Any businesses that provide services that would enhance either the early childhood development service, business or the early childhood educator.
