Early Childhood Educator -------3 positions Infant Educators

 

We have expanded and are excited to open our new Infant rooms . We have 3 new spacious and inviting environments and we are seeking 3 passionate Infant Educators  who will be responsible for the care and education of infants . In this position, you will create a safe and nurturing environment for infants to learn and grow. You will also be expected to design and implement age-appropriate activities based on PEI Early Learning Framework curriculum to support their development.

• Attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting

• Observe and document developmental progress of infants and communicate with parents/guardians regularly

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education

• Maintain a clean and organized classroom

• Follow PEI regulations regarding infant care and education

• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in infant care and education

• Active Member or the ECDA

Passionate , positive attitude and able to work well independently  and within a team structure 

• Early Childhood Educator Certification  - or willing to obtain certification

• Valid First Aid Certificate

• Current Criminal Check and vulnerable persons check every three years

• Active ECDA member and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in infant care and education

Required Experience

 

• Experience working with young children in an Early Learning setting is an asset. 

• Caring ,nurturing individuals who enjoy  providing educational experiences for children and families.

• Flexible ,reliable and strong work ethic
