Early Bird Registration for the 2016 ECDA Fall Conference will be opening this Monday August 29th!
Approved for 12 hours of on-going training by the CCFB.
Early Bird Rates are only available until September 16th, and space in some breakout sessions will fill up fast, so get your registration in early!
ECDA Members: in order to receive member rates for the conference, please be sure you have renewed your membership for the 2016-2017 year, and log in to the Member Area to register for the event.
The 2016 Fall Conference will be held at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown on Thursday October 27th and Friday October 28th. View the lineup of speakers online, or download and print the Conference Information Booklet.
This year we will be offering TWO Pre-conference Days on Wednesday October 26th. You will need to sign up for these workshop separately from the Conference registration:
The theme for the conference is "Guidance.” Throughout this conference participants will have the opportunity to discuss with experts and colleagues the matters of challenging behavior, self regulation, nurturing healthy relationships, social and emotional skills, working in partnership with families, and creating opportunities for children to be successful!
Keynotes for this year's conference include Beyond Survival: The importance of being resilient when working with young children with Barbara Kaiser, and Lighten Up! Humor is FUNdamental to providing Quality Care to Young Children with Paul McGhee.
